What Kind Of Fool They Think we Are

The Republican Party must think the America public is, as my sister would say, some kind of Fool!

They want you to believe that a person who graduates 894 out of a class of 899 is smart enough to solve our mortgage problem.

That the same person who can not remember how many houses he and his wife own is bright enough to have the answers we need.

This is the same guy who helped the nation solve the savings and loan industry turmoil. (Remember the Keating 5 or better yet where are the savings and loans today?)

Insane McCain is the leader of the Republican party that held congress for twelve years and the White House for eight. This same party has lead us into this financial mess. It was Sen. McCain who voted with the majority party 91 percent of the time.  It is his vote along with the Republican Party on finance issues that led us to where we are today.

Good God, people.  We have major problems threatening us in Afghanistan.  We have an increasing unemployment rate and a failing health care system.  We are ON THE BRINK OF A DEPRESSION.  We have a RECORD DEFICIT and spending $10 BILLION a month–on the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.  We have a dwindling supply of energy and have wasted the last 14 years doing nothing to develop viable, alternative fuel.

Someone told me about this family (I am still trying to figure out if it is a joke or not) where the wife is working two jobs, her husband is working three jobs, both teenage sons working after school thirty hours a week. The oldest daughter works a full-time job and going to college part time. To top it off, are you ready for this – even the family dog had to get a job working nights at a local lumber yard.

This couple is worry that the Factory that they work at may close. If the factory closes how will they make their house payment. Their daughter is worry that she may be laid off from her job and wouldn’t be able to finish college. Also, if they lose their high paying job they lose their health plan.

Guess who these people will be voting for this election. If you guess Insane McCain you guessed right. Talk about standing on faith, this family is placing their entire future on a man who manages to make George W. Bush look like a road scholar.
